Description
The City of Owensboro is soliciting a contractor to remove and replace existing fencing at the Fisher Park ballfields. The scope includes approximately 1,800 linear feet of 4-foot under-fencing, 2,400 linear feet of 8-foot fencing, 240 linear feet of 20-foot backstop fencing with a 5-foot overhang, 320 linear feet of 20-foot backstop fencing without an overhang, eight 10-foot-wide gates in 8-foot fencing, and four 20-foot-wide gates in 4-foot fencing. Materials include Schedule 40 steel posts, 6-gauge galvanized fencing for backstops, and 9-gauge galvanized fencing elsewhere. The contractor must perform the work without subcontractors, provide a minimum one-year workmanship warranty plus the manufacturer's material warranty, and complete the project between November 9, 2026, and February 26, 2027. A 5% bid security is required at submission. The successful bidder must provide 100% performance and payment bonds after award, maintain specified workers' compensation, general liability, and automobile liability insurance, and obtain applicable permits and licenses.
