Description
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is soliciting a contractor for a one-time demolition and right-of-way clearance project involving four parcels in Daviess County. Work includes removing residential structures, attached and detached garages, carports, pavement, fencing, an inground pool, septic systems, a storage building, and an advertisement sign, along with removing and properly disposing of all resulting debris and waste. The contractor must perform utility coordination and locate private utility lines, comply with Kentucky 811 requirements, address hazardous and special-disposal materials, complete rodent-control measures through a licensed exterminator, restore disturbed areas through grading and seeding, maintain public safety and site cleanliness, and provide required disposal documentation. The solicitation requires pricing for every parcel and includes performance-bond or irrevocable-letter-of-credit requirements, insurance requirements, federal funding provisions, and DBE-related requirements.
