Description
The City of Tell City is requesting letters of interest from qualified consultants to provide professional engineering services for a federal-aid streetscape project on Tell Street from 12th Street to Main Street. The project includes new sidewalks, curbs, ADA improvements, decorative lighting, and benches along four blocks to improve pedestrian safety and downtown connectivity. The advertised phases are preliminary engineering and right-of-way, with an estimated construction amount of $1,438,806.31 and funding of $1,151,045.05. Required prequalification categories include environmental document preparation, acquisition-services project management, topographical surveying, title search, non-complex roadway design, appraisal, Level 1 bridge design, appraisal review, right-of-way plan development, and construction inspection. The contract term is until project completion. The DBE goal is 3%, and the proposal must address DBE participation through the Affirmative Action Certification and related documentation. The Letter of Interest is limited to 12 pages and must address firm identification and qualifications, key staff, project approach, capacity, and related experience.
