Description
The Housing Authority of Henderson is soliciting sealed bids from qualified electrical contractors for labor-only replacement of receptacles in approximately 200 occupied apartment units at the Lawndale and Dixon complexes. The work includes replacing all existing three-prong receptacles with GFCI receptacles, replacing some living-room combination switches with single-pole switches, furnishing labor and equipment, disposing of replaced components, coordinating access to minimize resident disruption, and obtaining any required permits and inspections. The Housing Authority will provide the 20-amp GFCI receptacles and extension metal wire-mold-style boxes. Bidders must comply with applicable federal, state, and local requirements, including the National Electrical Code, Davis-Bacon prevailing wage requirements, Section 3, equal employment opportunity requirements, and site safety rules. Proposals must include total project pricing, applicable unit pricing, estimated duration, earliest available start date, warranty information, proof of licensing and insurance, complaint procedures and response times, crew size, references, and subcontractor information. The contract work start date will be finalized at contract signing, and completion may not exceed 24 months from the Notice to Proceed.
