Description
The Henderson Water Utility is soliciting one product-lubricated, open-line-shaft vertical turbine pump for continuous raw-water service at its intake. The pump must provide 10,000 gallons per minute at specified head conditions, be compatible with the existing 250-horsepower motor, and include the pump assembly, anchor bolts, air-release valves, installation hardware, accessories, and other materials required for installation. The specifications identify acceptable-equivalent pump configurations and detailed requirements for bowls, impellers, column pipe, shafts, bearings, coatings, discharge connections, and compatibility with the existing motor. The vendor must provide installation and startup services by a factory representative, operation and maintenance manuals, training, shop drawings, delivery scheduling, site verification, certified shop testing, and warranty coverage. The bid requires pricing for the pump and startup assistance, three current customer references for the proposed equipment, proposed material and accessory schedules, installation requirements, exceptions, and a completed official bid package. The contract is a single contract with no renewal, and award is based entirely on evaluated bid price, subject to applicable Kentucky preferences.
