Description
The Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority seeks a contractor to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain its shuttle vans and pickup trucks used in parking operations at two airports. Work includes preventive and annual safety inspections, emergency roadside response and towing, repairs, maintenance scheduling and service records, and coordination of third-party work when needed. Technicians must be ASE-certified, and work must comply with applicable Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration requirements. The contractor must use OEM or OEM-quality parts, maintain sufficient inventory for routine repairs, and generally complete work within 24–48 hours after receiving a vehicle or work order. Tires are supplied by the Authority; the contractor provides other replacement parts. The fleet may change in size, and the solicitation estimates the contract value at $220,000–$320,000 annually. Pricing is requested for five contract years, including fixed prices for specified preventive-maintenance inspections, New York State annual inspections, towing, labor, third-party service markup, and discounts on Ford replacement parts. The proposal must include a technical response, cost proposal, warranty information, lead time, equipment and replacement-parts list, and the required vendor, diversity, and other solicitation forms. The contract term is three years with two optional one-year renewals, commencing on or about January 1, 2027.
