Description
Jackson County, Missouri Parks + Rec is soliciting construction proposals for improvements at Alex George Wetland Park. The base work includes playground equipment and installation, certified playground mulch, concrete trails and pavement, seeding, an access bollard, benches, picnic tables, a picnic shelter and concrete slab, clearing and grubbing, mobilization, and grading. The plans also require related labor, materials, equipment, surveying, excavation, backfilling, stonework, concrete footings, shelter installation, site furnishings, landscaping, erosion control, and cleanup. The solicitation includes additive alternatives for ADA parking and walkways, a trail extension, stairs and handrails, additional shelters, and other site improvements. Proposals must include the requested purchasing forms and qualifications information, including relevant experience, references, certifications, licensing and insurance documentation, and applicable compliance forms. A mandatory pre-proposal site inspection is scheduled, and the selected contractor may be required to provide performance and labor-and-materials bonds after award.
