Description
The Defense Logistics Agency Disposition Services is offering a sealed-bid sale for a three-year term contract covering the purchase, removal, and processing of textile scrap. The material includes miscellaneous textile scrap, webbing, rope, nylon, rayon, wool, cotton rags, burlap, canvas, polyester, leather, mattresses, hawser scrap, and sleeping bags. The contract covers material located at DLA Disposition Services Jacksonville and Eglin, Florida, with guaranteed and maximum quantities specified by location and additional quantities available during option periods. The purchaser must bid on all contract line items, provide containers and conveyance, arrange removal, comply with applicable licensing, environmental, safety, and export-control requirements, and use approved facilities and subcontractors. Bids must be submitted using the completed SF 114 and SF 114A; email bids to dla.sales@dla.mil by the stated closing deadline. This is a sale of government property, not a service contract.
