Description
The Detroit Water and Sewerage Department seeks commercial snow plowing, snow removal, and de-icing services at four facilities. Work includes clearing parking lots, roadways, driveways, sidewalks, entrances, loading docks, and other designated areas; applying de-icing materials; responding to refreeze and emergency requests; and hauling excess snow when directed. The contractor must provide the necessary staff, equipment, and materials, maintain 24/7 availability during the service period, and meet specified response and clearing times. DWSD will provide salt; the contractor supplies sand and other approved de-icing materials. Bidders must demonstrate at least five years of relevant commercial experience and submit pricing and an equipment list. Attendance at all four mandatory site visits is required for bid consideration.
