Description
Walled Lake Consolidated School District is soliciting firm prime contractor bids for Bid Package 2 of its 2024 bond projects. The work includes mechanical, electrical, plumbing, site, and architectural trades for remodeling Commerce, Dublin, Meadowbrook, Hickory Woods, and Pleasant Lake elementary schools. Bidding documents consist of plans and specifications prepared by TMP Architecture. Each proposal must be submitted in duplicate on the architect-furnished forms and include the required sworn and notarized statements: familial relationship disclosure, Iran Economic Sanctions Act Affidavit of Compliance, Affidavit of Compliance for Criminal Background Checks, and Prevailing Wage (LEO) Registration. For proposals over $31,321, bidders must provide bid security of at least 5% of the proposal amount, either as a bid bond or cashier’s check. Successful bidders with proposals of $50,000 or more must furnish performance and payment bonds, each in the amount of 100% of the bid.
