Description
Omnitrans is seeking electronic quotes for miscellaneous new bus parts on an as-needed basis, with no guaranteed usage. The listed categories include transit-bus parts and accessories; automotive engine, transmission, braking, suspension, steering, cooling, fuel, exhaust, and electrical components; HVAC and air-compressor parts; lights, mirrors, seats, gauges, wheels, tires-related components, wheelchair-lift accessories, fasteners, belts, gaskets, seals, pumps, and other vehicle parts. Bidders must provide unit pricing and lead times, identify any core charges, and include all costs other than sales tax, core charges, and shipping/freight. Omnitrans may split awards among the lowest responsive, responsible bidders with available inventory. Supplied parts must be genuine new manufacturer or supplier parts, include applicable separate and pass-through warranties, and comply with the stated warranty requirements. Brand-name or approved-equal substitutions will not be accepted unless the items have been pre-approved through Omnitrans' Technical Services Department. The procurement is funded in part by the Federal Transit Administration and incorporates applicable federal transit requirements.
