Description
Polk County is seeking the lowest-priced quote for demolition and removal of three residential structures, including a single-family residence, a mobile home, and another single-family residence, along with metal sheds, ancillary buildings, an above-ground pool, deck, concrete, debris, and vegetation as necessary. The contractor must clear, fill, level, and rake the site while leaving the perimeter fence and existing wells in place. The scope includes asbestos-containing-material removal using wet-demolition methods, septic tank and drain-field removal in accordance with Florida requirements, utility disconnects, permits, authorized landfill disposal, and removal of household hazardous waste and tires. The prime contractor must perform asbestos removal and hold a State of Florida Asbestos Contractor license, type CJC; that work may not be subcontracted. Quotes must be submitted on the County's quotation forms, with required certifications, insurance documentation, and other specified forms.
