Description
The City of Johnstown is rebidding construction work for a public safety building elevator addition and associated site improvements. The project includes alternates for additional interior and exterior improvements, along with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing replacement work. Bidders may submit for separate prime contracts covering general, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing construction. The project is subject to Pennsylvania prevailing-wage requirements, Build America Buy America Act and RACP funding requirements, the Pennsylvania Office of the Budget Domestic Steel Products Procurement Act, and federal MBE/WBE/Section 3 requirements under 24 CFR Part 75. A bid bond equal to 10% of the proposed contract sum is required, and successful bidders must provide separate payment and performance bonds, each equal to 100% of the contract sum.
