Description
Antis Township is requesting bids for the Green Light-Go Traffic Signal Upgrades project at the intersection of E. Pleasant Valley Blvd. (SR 1001) and Tipton Road (SR 4023) in Blair County, Pennsylvania. The construction includes traffic signal support with mast arms, pedestrian stub poles and signals, signage, pavement markings, pedestrian access pads, a controller assembly, and asphalt paving. Bids must be submitted on the required forms as sealed bids; faxed and emailed bids will not be accepted. Pennsylvania prevailing wage rates apply, and the prime contractor and all subcontractors must be PennDOT prequalified, have completed similar projects, and submit a Qualifications Statement. The project is partly financed through a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Green Light-Go grant. A 10% bid bond is required, and the successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds, each equal to 100% of the contract price. Contractors and subcontractors must comply with the Public Works Employment Verifications Act and e-Verify requirements.
