Description
The Nanty Glo Water Authority is soliciting construction bids for improvements to its water treatment plant. The work includes installation of a third filtration unit, construction of a second backwash equalization tank, installation of a precast valve vault and parallel plate settling vault, construction of a new garage building, and associated site work, demolition, and appurtenances. Bids are requested under three contracts: Contract 2026-1 for General/Mechanical Work, Contract 2026-2 for HVAC Work, and Contract 2026-3 for Electrical Work. Davis-Bacon and federal wage rates, Pennsylvania employment-verification requirements, and applicable Steel Products Procurement Act and American Iron and Steel requirements apply. Bidders must provide a Qualifications Statement demonstrating similar completed projects. The project is funded through PENNVEST.
