Description
Northside Independent School District is soliciting proposals for excess workers' compensation insurance for its self-insured workers' compensation program. The District currently has a $500,000 self-insured retention per claim and uses a third-party administrator for claims administration. Proposals should provide a single net premium without dividends, discounts, returns, commissions, or fees, including adjusting, appraisal, and inspection costs. The District prefers a non-auditable policy and requests a two- to three-year proposal with a rate cap based on loss experience. Layered proposals must follow the underlying policy form. The selected carrier must cooperate with the District and its designated third-party administrator regarding claim reporting, reimbursement procedures, claim reviews, information sharing, and related administration. The District may change its third-party administrator during the contract term, and such a change may not by itself result in cancellation, non-renewal, reduced coverage, or modified terms. Pricing must be submitted using the provided pricing form, including self-insured retention, annual premium, second- and third-year premiums, annual aggregate, insurer information, financial statement, coverage documentation, deviations, and compensation disclosures.
