Description
The City of Loveland is soliciting proposals for the conversion of Fields 7–10 and the infields of Fields 5 and 6 at Barnes Softball Complex from natural grass and dirt surfaces to synthetic turf. The scope includes removal and disposal of existing materials; excavation and subgrade preparation; drainage infrastructure; turf subgrade, padding, organic infill, striping, markings, nailer boards, curbs, fencing modifications, new chain-link fencing, bullpen and warm-up lanes, bases, pitching rubbers, and removable high-wear components with surplus replacement stock. Proposals must provide a complete turf system meeting the specified performance, compatibility, glare-reduction, warranty, and maintenance requirements. The response is limited to 30 pages, excluding covers, and must include a signed cover letter, relevant project experience, staff qualifications, project timeline, references, and a not-to-exceed cost proposal with a detailed cost spreadsheet. Electronic proposals and physical samples of all proposed turf, infill, and pad materials are required. The project must be completed by March 15, 2027.
