Assisted Living Facility Services for Sexually Violent Predators

Description
This Request for Information seeks information from providers that may be able to offer licensed assisted living facility placements and related services for individuals who meet Virginia's sexually violent predator criteria and are on conditional release in the community or pending conditional release. Respondents are asked to describe available community-based resources, facility-based or home-based treatment, length of stay, service levels, facility modifications such as secured doors, staffing, admission requirements, and estimated costs. Facilities would need to be located within Virginia, licensed by the Virginia Department of Social Services, and compliant with applicable federal, state, and local requirements. Providers should address coordination with behavioral health and corrections personnel, Medicaid or Medicare reimbursement, data reporting, litigation and regulatory history, and recommendations for managing a potential future contract.
