Description
Wake Technical Community College seeks a contractor to provide comprehensive janitorial and custodial services across its campuses, covering approximately 1.88 million square feet. The scope includes scheduled daily through annual cleaning; restroom, classroom, office, and common-area cleaning; carpet and upholstery cleaning; floor stripping, refinishing, and maintenance; window cleaning; disinfection; event cleanup; and work-order response. The contractor must provide management, supervisors, day porters, nightly cleaning crews, labor, equipment, and most supplies, and maintain service standards aligned with APPA Level 2. The contractor must also implement green cleaning, recycling, waste reduction, safety and environmental programs, staff training, quality inspections, and reporting. Proposals must include a detailed technical approach and transition plan, organizational and staffing plans, experience information, at least three references using the provided customer reference form, and completed pricing and certification forms. The initial contract term is three years; the RFP states it begins upon final contract execution or July 1, 2027, whichever is later.
