Description
The Architect of the Capitol is seeking sources capable of providing campus-wide waste management services across the U.S. Capitol campus and associated facilities. The anticipated requirement includes routine building-waste collection and transport to a waste-to-energy or other approved facility; construction and demolition waste removal, salvage, recycling, and disposal; self-performed loads to a transfer or recycling facility; pre-consumer food-waste collection and composting; and green-waste collection and composting. The contractor would furnish and maintain containers, compactors, toters, roll-off dumpsters, vehicles, labor, reporting, cleaning, training, and related equipment and services. The notice is for market research and sources-sought purposes only; quotations are not requested and no contract award will result from this notice. Respondents are asked to confirm interest in a potential future RFQ, identify any applicable GSA Federal Supply Schedule contract and Special Item Number, submit questions, provide examples of similar contracts completed or ongoing within the past three years with awarded dollar amounts, and comment on the draft statement of work. The anticipated future vehicle is a five-year Blanket Purchase Agreement with a 12-month base period, four 12-month option periods, and a possible six-month extension; the draft requirement also includes transition-in and transition-out activities.
