Description
The Executive Office of the President’s Office of Administration Information Technology is conducting market research for an internal office-supply e-commerce and inventory system used exclusively by agency staff. The desired solution may be a cloud Software as a Service subscription or an on-premise application deployed in Kubernetes containers. It must support ordering, approval routing, spend controls, expenditure justifications, delivery routing, audit trails, inventory and user management, reporting, role-based access control, single sign-on, and US-based servers. The anticipated scale is approximately 500 catalog items, 1,000 non-named users, and 400 average monthly orders. The response should be a white paper describing the proposed architecture and user-interface integration, rough-order-of-magnitude software, deployment, support, labor, and professional-services costs, proposed team, relevant corporate and federal experience, customer deployments, implementation schedule, and potential government acquisition vehicles. Responses are limited to four single-spaced pages in 12-point type with at least one-inch margins and must be no larger than 5 MB by email. This is an RFI for planning purposes only and is not a solicitation or commitment to award a contract.
