Description
The contractor shall provide personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, quality control, and labor to modify approximately 44 District of Columbia National Guard vehicles. Work includes installing government-grade red, white, and blue LED emergency lighting with 360-degree warning coverage, alley/flood lighting, programmable inputs and flash patterns, and a 100-watt siren/public-announcement function. The systems must be integrated and hard-wired using appropriate brackets, controllers, switches, wiring, relays, fuses, and related components. The contractor must also produce and install government-approved graphics, lettering, emblems, and weather- and UV-resistant vehicle decals. Vehicles vary by make, model, body style, and configuration, and all equipment must be compatible with each vehicle. The contractor is responsible for testing each completed modification, coordinating vehicle scheduling and return, providing applicable product and workmanship warranties, and supplying installed-equipment and warranty information at acceptance. The period of performance is September 28 through December 31, 2026.
