Description
The Housing Authority of Prince George's County is accepting proposals from property owners and developers for up to 50 project-based vouchers serving families referred from the Authority's waiting list. Proposals may cover new construction, substantial rehabilitation, or existing housing, and must identify fixed units that meet applicable Housing Quality Standards and other HUD and accessibility requirements. Projects must be located within Prince George's County, and respondents must demonstrate site control, zoning or land-use approvals, development and ownership experience, management experience, project feasibility, operating budgets, and readiness to lease units. The initial Housing Assistance Payment contract term must be 15 years, with renewal at the Authority's discretion for an additional 15-year term. Required proposal materials include project and site information, evidence of site control and approvals, design and service details, development and ownership experience, management plans, operating budgets, accessible-unit information when applicable, applicable HUD forms, HAPGC forms, three business references, an addenda acknowledgment when applicable, a non-collusive affidavit, an insurance certificate, and a W-9. Submissions must be uploaded through the electronic procurement portal.
