Description
Miami University is seeking a technology vendor to monitor state and local employment laws across the 32 states where it employs workers, identify changes applicable to its workforce, provide automated alerts and actionable compliance guidance, and support implementation tracking. The solution should address wage and hour rules, paid leave, posting and notice obligations, pay transparency, sick time, withholding, payroll, and other employment requirements. The proposed solution should integrate with Workday where technically feasible, use employee and work-location information to identify affected populations, provide a centralized compliance dashboard and audit trails, coordinate actions among University offices, and reduce reliance on manual research and spreadsheets. The contract is intended to begin January 1, 2027, with the application fully installed and functional by January 15, 2027, and service continuing through January 15, 2030, with up to three additional one-year renewals by mutual agreement. Proposals must include at least two similar-project references, a detailed response in the RFP's order, pricing, sustainability information, and the completed Proposal Offering Form.
