Description
The U.S. Navy is soliciting repair, testing, inspection, and modification services for 65 computer and digital equipment units associated with NSN 7021-01-665-3345. The work includes disassembly, repair or replacement of detail parts, assembly, functional testing, incoming inspection, acceptance testing, and restoration of equipment to a serviceable condition. The contractor must provide the required labor, repair parts, materials, test equipment, laboratory capability, tooling, and outside services at its own facility; Government drawings and NAVAIR manuals will not be provided. The solicitation requires a 100% repair rate for CLIN carcasses, Government approval for disposal of units beyond economical repair, compliance with applicable engineering drawings and repair specifications, and quality-assurance participation during repair and acceptance testing. The required repair turnaround time is 140 days after receipt of each asset, with contractor-provided monthly throughput constraints and an induction expiration date 365 days after contract award. Early and incremental deliveries are accepted and preferred, and MIL-STD 2073 packaging applies.
