Description
The City of Hamilton is soliciting bids for materials-only furnishing and delivery of 12 15-kV, three-phase, dead-front, pad-mounted, air-insulated switchgear assemblies. The purchase includes eight units configured with four 600-amp switching compartments and four units configured with three 600-amp switching compartments plus one 200-amp fused compartment. The 200-amp compartments must include specified fuse end fittings, 15-kV fuse units, 100-amp fuses, and 15-kV 200-amp load-break inserts. Bidders must provide cut sheets for City review to verify compliance with the specifications. Delivery is to City of Hamilton Substation No. 5, during normal receiving hours, with advance telephone notifications required before delivery. The bid requires a bid bond or certified check equal to 10% of the total bid, an original bidder signature, the completed proposal and bidding schedule, specified affidavits, and sealed submission of the original bid and any requested duplicate copies.
