Description
The Toronto District School Board is soliciting bids for structural restoration and waterproofing work in the boiler room at Cedarvale Community School. Non-destructive work may occur during regular hours; work affecting school operations must be performed after hours or on weekends in accordance with applicable city bylaws. The contractor must begin as soon as possible after award, submit a project schedule immediately upon award, and substantially complete the project by August 20, 2027. If the bid exceeds $500,000, the awarded contractor must provide digital Labour and Material Bonds and Performance Bonds using Forms 31 and 32, including HST. An installation floater may be required to cover project supplies and equipment. At the Purchasing Department’s discretion, the Contract Specialist may request a complete breakdown of the base bid price from unofficial low bidders after closing; a requested breakdown must be provided within five business days or the bid may be deemed non-compliant.
