Description
Bernalillo County is soliciting proposals for comprehensive occupational medical health services supporting approximately 3,000 employees and seasonal staff. The scope includes treatment and case management for work-related injuries and illnesses; post-offer and pre-employment examinations; fitness-for-duty and return-to-work evaluations; OSHA- and job-specific physicals; vaccinations; medical screenings; drug and alcohol testing; respiratory protection evaluations and quantitative fit testing; bloodborne-pathogen exposure consultation; and related recommendations and support. The contractor must provide qualified medical personnel, same-day injury evaluation capacity, after-hours and 24/7 on-call coverage, dedicated account administrators, electronic medical-record capabilities, appointment scheduling and reporting systems, and coordination with the County's Risk Management, Human Resources, Fire Department, and third-party administrator. Proposals must address operational capabilities, facilities and equipment, staffing and credentials, workers' compensation and human-resources workflows, legal and confidentiality compliance, financial and records requirements, quality assurance, references, and separate technical and cost submissions. The anticipated term is two years with two additional two-year renewal options, not to exceed six years.
