Description
The Utah Division of Purchasing has published a notice of intent to award a contract without engaging in a standard competitive procurement process. The opportunity concerns an amendment to Contract 236163 for a funds increase and is associated with patient care and medical examination services, as well as disease prevention and control services. The notice states that a noncompetitive award may proceed if the procurement unit establishes a sole source, significant transitional costs, or other circumstances making a standard procurement process impractical and not in the procurement unit’s best interest.
