Description
Albuquerque Public Schools is soliciting qualified agencies, organizations, and individuals to provide speech and language pathology services on an as-needed basis throughout the year. The scope includes speech and language assessments; therapy services designed through students’ Individualized Education Programs; teacher consultation and home programs; progress, evaluation, caseload, Medicaid, and other required documentation; and related training or support. Services must comply with applicable state and federal requirements, New Mexico licensure rules, professional ethics, and APS procedures. Providers may include in-person and tele-practice services, must supply their own laptops and equipment, and may not accept assignments directly from schools without authorization from the APS Special Education Department and an approved purchase order. Offerors must submit qualifications, education and availability information, proof of auto and professional liability insurance, applicable business registration and professional licenses, Medicaid provider information, three client references, an approach and methodology, and hourly pricing, along with the required legal and confidentiality forms. The contract may run for four years with renewal options, and APS does not guarantee a minimum volume of work.
