Description
The U.S. Air Force is soliciting non-personal lifeguard and aquatic management services for a 100-meter indoor swimming pool. The contractor must provide one dedicated, on-site Aquatics Manager and a minimum of three certified lifeguards during each of three weekday operating sessions, covering swimmer surveillance, rescue response, first aid, CPR/AED, rule enforcement, patron access control, and facility opening and closing procedures. The contractor must also perform daily pool vacuuming, drain and skimmer clearing, equipment inspections and sanitization, and water-quality and temperature monitoring, while refraining from handling pool chemicals. Personnel must maintain nationally recognized lifeguarding, CPR, AED, and first-aid certifications and pass specified swimming-proficiency tests. The proposal must include a technical plan and Quality Control Plan, at least two recent and relevant past-performance references, and pricing for a three-month base period, four 12-month option periods, and a nine-month final option period; the Government also retains a six-month extension option.
