The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), Office of Justice Services (OJS), Indian Highway Safety Program (IHSP) is soliciting proposals for grants to cover registration fees and travel expenses for tribal employees who work in traffic data collection and analysis to attend the Traffic Records Forum from August 3-5, 2027. The grant is available only to federally recognized tribes that do not currently have an Indian Highway Safety Grant for FY 2027. The goal is to improve traffic records and highway safety data, apply performance measures, implement model traffic records systems, and network with transportation safety professionals. Attendees must justify their attendance by explaining how their work relates to traffic data collection and analysis.
