Description
Albuquerque Public Schools is soliciting proposals from qualified agencies or organizations—not individuals—to provide as-needed social work services throughout the district. Services may include social work evaluations; direct and indirect services for eligible students; therapy services; teacher consultation; home programs; supervision where required; progress, evaluation, Medicaid, and other required reports; and related training. Services must be coordinated with the Special Education Department and site administrators and performed in accordance with applicable state and federal requirements, professional ethics, Individualized Education Programs, and licensure standards. Offerors must provide appropriately licensed and certified personnel, required Medicaid provider documentation, student-service billing and contact records, their own laptop and equipment, and access to online testing materials where applicable. The proposal must include qualifications, availability during school hours, proof of auto and professional liability insurance, business registration, required licenses, references, a detailed approach and methodology, and hourly pricing, including a separate tele-therapy rate. Proposals may not exceed 60 pages, excluding the front cover, section dividers, letter of transmittal, and required forms, and must be submitted as one electronic file. The resulting contract may run for four years with renewal options and does not guarantee a minimum volume of work.
