Description
The Air Force Research Laboratory requires three perpetual Cadence Pointwise Computational Fluid Dynamics software licenses, specialized add-ons, and maintenance and support periods not exceeding one year. The software will support CFD analysis and generation of high-quality computational grids for aerodynamic and fluid-dynamic simulations; exact quantities and delivery times for the products and support are not known in advance. The Government intends to negotiate a sole-source contract with Cadence Design Systems Inc., identified as the sole developer and provider of Pointwise. This notice is informational and is not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation; however, responsible sources may submit capability statements or proposals demonstrating clear and convincing evidence that competition would benefit future procurements.
