COUNTY OF BERNALILLO Request for Proposal (RFP) RFP # 12-27-SS Occupational Medical Health Services The Bernalillo County (“County”) Purchasing Section of the Procurement and Busi- ness Services Department (“Purchasing”) is soliciting pro- posals from Offerors to provide Occupational Medical Health Services including but not limited to, medical services for on-the-job injuries, pre- employment screenings, fitness for duty evaluations, OSHA governed physicals, vaccina- tions, and screenings, related recommendations, and support and direction to the County. A Non-Mandatory pre-proposal conference will be held on September 09, 2026 (local time) at 10:00 a.m. by MS Teams only. Description
Bernalillo County is seeking occupational medical health services, including medical care for on-the-job injuries, pre-employment screenings, fitness-for-duty evaluations, OSHA-governed physicals, vaccinations, screenings, related recommendations, and support. The scope includes 24/7 after-hours services for reasonable-suspicion drug and alcohol testing, post-accident testing, and bloodborne pathogen response, with specified response and testing timelines. Proposals should explain the provider’s approach to after-hours services and collection-site selection, and demonstrate capabilities in medical care, case management, reporting, regulatory compliance, recordkeeping, and coordination with County departments. The evaluation criteria require at least three references similar in size and scope. The proposal deadline has been extended to October 28, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. MDT, and offerors must acknowledge Addendum No. 3.
