Description
Central Contra Costa Sanitary District is soliciting proposals for construction management and inspection services for the Ultraviolet Disinfection Replacement Project, District Project 100012. The scope includes preconstruction constructability reviews, cost estimating, scheduling, bid-phase assistance, construction management, daily and specialty inspection, safety oversight, Procore-based document control, payment and change-order review, shutdown coordination, testing and commissioning, and project closeout and asset handover. An optional Safety Compliance Officer scope may also be exercised. The project includes a new ultraviolet building and structures, switchgear building and substation, junction structure, large piping installation, temporary power, and commissioning activities. Construction is expected to begin in mid-2027 and continue for four to five years. The project budget is approximately $101 million, and the agreement duration is five years. Proposers must demonstrate relevant wastewater and construction-management experience, provide qualified personnel and subconsultants, and submit a fee proposal, staffing plan, firm experience, conflict-of-interest information, exceptions to contract terms, and the required insurance acknowledgment form.
