Description
Yavapai County is soliciting bids for hauling municipal solid waste and non-municipal solid waste from the Paulden Solid Waste Transfer Station to disposal facilities designated by the County. The awarded contractor must provide and operate trucks, a minimum of six 40-yard roll-off containers with sufficient replacements, qualified drivers, backup equipment, and all personnel needed to perform the work. The scope includes connecting and replacing filled containers, securing loads, transporting and unloading waste, cleaning spilled debris, complying with applicable laws, maintaining records, and providing emergency communication coverage. Bidders must provide single- and double-haul rates on a 40-cubic-yard-per-load-per-mile basis; award evaluation will be based on the double-load bid. The contract term is November 15, 2026, through December 31, 2027, with up to four additional one-year extensions by mutual agreement. A $25,000 performance bond is required after award and must be renewed annually. Required bid submittals include pricing, the acknowledgement and acceptance response, applicable subcontractor information, a non-collusion affidavit, and the completed equipment list.
