Description
Tulare County is soliciting bids for a material contract supplying livestock feed on an as-needed basis. The estimated requirements include commercial chicken layer feed, pig starter feed, swine grower feed, swine finisher feed, and bagged mineral supplements. Bidders may bid on any or all items, and the County may make multiple awards. Quantities are estimates and are not guaranteed. The awarded vendor must deliver orders within three calendar days, between 6:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., to the Tulare County Correctional Center Hog Farm. The specifications request six feed tanks with 10- to 12-ton capacities and require bidders to indicate whether they will provide the tanks and cover their maintenance and repairs at no cost. The bid package requires a signed bid form, debarment certification, insurance exhibit, campaign contribution disclosure form, and completed pricing sheet.
