Description
Community Renewal Team is soliciting pricing for a market basket of grocery and food products for its food production operations. The requested items include condiments, canned and packaged foods, meats, poultry, seafood, dairy products, cheeses, yogurt, vegetables and fruits, bakery and breakfast items, crackers, cookies, snacks, pizzas, sandwiches, pancakes, waffles, and other child nutrition products. Bidders must complete both required pricing spreadsheets electronically in Excel format, provide brand names, prices, manufacturer and vendor product codes, and bid on at least 80% of the listed items. Meat, poultry, and seafood must meet stated USDA inspection and grading requirements; applicable products must include current Child Nutrition labels or Product Formulation Statements. Products must meet specified whole-grain, enriched-grain, CACFP, packaging, portion, and nutritional requirements. Delivery costs must be included in pricing, and awarded vendors must be able to supply approximately 4,000 meals per day and maintain awarded items in stock.
