The Town of Gilbert is requesting Statements of Qualifications from architecture and engineering firms experienced with the Construction Manager at Risk delivery method. The selected firm will provide design and construction-phase services for pavement reconstruction on Pecos Road between Val Vista Drive and Lindsay Road, including ADA intersection improvements, crosswalk paver replacement, ramp and driveway upgrades, right-turn lanes, streetlights, sewer and waterline stub-outs, geotechnical investigations, and related work. The project also includes design and installation of a minor arterial traffic signal at Pecos Road and Auto Way/Sailors Way, connection to the signal system, evaluation of approach alignments and right-turn lanes, and consideration of dual egress lanes and positive offsets. The total program budget is approximately $18,396,000, including internal and external costs. One contract may be awarded. The SOQ must contain a one-page cover letter, a maximum 12-page response to the specified qualification criteria, and Appendix A. Evaluation criteria include project understanding and management approach, schedule and cost control, quality control, firm experience, project manager and staff qualifications, and references. Firms must identify up to five relevant A/E projects awarded during the last three years, provide specified experience and reference information for proposed personnel, and arrange for Past Performance Verification Forms for three similar projects to be submitted by the responsible agencies or owners before the deadline.
