Description
The Town of Gilbert Fire Department is seeking qualified firms to provide installation, repair, inspection, emergency response, and ongoing preventive maintenance for commercial fire station bay doors, gates, and related mechanical and electrical components across multiple fire stations and operational Town facilities. Services include equipment removal and installation, motors, controls, sensors, tracks, safety systems, electrical integration, repairs, scheduled inspections, lubrication, adjustments, testing, documentation, and commissioning. Contractors must provide qualified, licensed, insured, and certified technicians; support OEM or approved-equivalent parts; comply with applicable NFPA, OSHA, building, electrical, ADA, and manufacturer requirements; and respond to emergency calls within 60 to 90 minutes, 24 hours per day, seven days per week. The response must include technical qualifications, service capability, installation and maintenance methods, project management and reporting information, pricing for standard and emergency labor, parts and materials, preventive maintenance, installation work, and optional services. Required submission materials include a cover letter, table of contents/proposal checklist, response workbook narratives, addendum acknowledgment, conflict-of-interest statement, three reference questionnaires, signed proposal form, and signed authorized signature form. The initial agreement begins upon execution and continues through June 30, 2027, with up to four additional one-year renewals provided in the sample contract.
