Description
The City is seeking a contractor to provide and install new fire and security detection and alarm systems, including all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, and safety measures needed to complete the work. The project is a California prevailing-wage public works project; the contractor and designated subcontractors must be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations when bidding. A Class C-10 electrical contractor's license is required at bid time, and a City business license is required at award. The bid response must include the completed Bid Schedule with total project cost, Designation of Subcontractors form, Fleet Compliance Certification form, and Exhibit B References and Questionnaire, including at least three recent similar-project references and responses to the listed work-history questions. The project is to be completed within 60 working days after the City issues a Notice to Proceed. Payment and performance bonds, each at 100% of the contract price, may be required after award if the bid is $25,000 or more.
