Description
Ventura Unified School District is soliciting proposals for three high-speed data circuits operating at 1 Gbps or higher. The scope includes point-to-point connectivity, single-mode fiber handoffs, all equipment necessary to provide the requested service, installation and initial configuration, retention or porting of existing circuits, and connectivity to specified demarcation and MDF locations. Proposed services must support network availability and packet delivery rates of 99.99%, one-way latency of 30 milliseconds, four-hour end-to-end mean repair time, continuous circuit monitoring, and no throttling. The requested circuits will connect Buena High School to Sunset Elementary and the Transportation Service Center, with the district data center relocating to Buena High School. Respondents must provide itemized eligible and ineligible pricing, recurring and non-recurring costs, growth pricing for 2G, 5G, and 10G upgrades, a service-level agreement, a signed multi-year service agreement, respondent information, references, qualifications, and an implementation plan if applicable. The initial contract term is three years beginning July 1, 2027, with two optional one-year extensions, subject to E-Rate funding and related program requirements.
