Description
The City seeks a licensed architectural and engineering firm to create a public library of approximately five unique, stick-built, detached accessory dwelling unit designs: one studio, two one-bedroom, and two two-bedroom plans. At least one design must be accessible or visitable, each configuration must be no larger than 1,000 square feet and no more than 16 feet high, and the plans must comply with the 2024 International Building Code, 2024 International Residential Code, 2021 International Energy Conservation Code, 2024 International Plumbing Code, and 2026 National Electrical Code. The scope includes permit-ready architectural and engineering packages with civil/site guidance, structural, electrical, and plumbing documentation; multiple finish renderings; construction and materials cost estimates; and final print-ready PDFs plus layered, editable AutoCAD or Revit source files. The City will acquire unrestricted rights to disseminate and reproduce the plans publicly. The agreement has a total budget of $100,000, with final plans due by May 31, 2027. Pricing is not requested with the qualifications submission.
