Description
The City of Tarpon Springs is seeking independent vendors to provide concession services for its 2027 recreation events, including the Sunset Beach Concert Series, movie nights, Easter EGG-Stravaganza, Juneteenth Celebration, Back to School Splash and Ecofest, and Halloween Bash. Services may include non-alcoholic beverages, snacks, ice cream, lemonade, shaved ice, sandwiches, hot dogs, hamburgers, and other food or drink offerings. Vendors must identify their proposed service format, such as a food truck, cart, trailer, concession tent, or semi-permanent structure, along with space, point-of-sale, storage, staffing, menu, and uniform details. Vendors are responsible for operating throughout each event, obtaining required permits, supplying needed utilities, paying a $45 fee for each scheduled event, and providing background checks for employees working at City facilities. Required submission materials include a response cover sheet, letter of interest, proposed menu, promotional flyer if available, background checks, and a certificate of insurance. The City intends to create a qualified vendor rotation list, with vendors potentially scheduled for one or more events during 2027.
