Description
The City of Haines City is soliciting proposals from an experienced person or entity to operate the food and beverage concession stand at Lake Eva Aquatic Center. The contractor must furnish labor, supervision, materials, equipment, and supplies; maintain adequate staffing and inventory; operate according to the facility and school-calendar schedule; provide approved food and beverages; maintain cleanliness and safety; and comply with applicable licensing, permitting, food-handler, and health requirements. A certified ServSafe Food Manager must be on duty during operations, and other employees must hold current ServSafe Food Handler certifications. The contractor will receive exclusive operating rights, retain concession revenue, and pay the City a negotiated monthly rental fee. The proposal must include the required operating approach, experience and personnel information, references, sample menu and pricing, signage samples, and the completed solicitation attachments and supporting documentation. Subcontracting the concession space is prohibited unless expressly approved in writing by the City.
