Description
The Town of Charlestown is soliciting proposals from qualified, Rhode Island-licensed mobile food establishments to provide food and non-alcoholic beverage concession services at Ninigret Park for the 2027 season, operating daily from April 1 through October 30. The vendor must provide a completely mobile operation; the Town will provide only a suitable site. Apparel and jewelry sales are prohibited. The concessionaire must comply with applicable local, state, and federal food-handling, tax, health, and safety requirements, including Rhode Island Department of Health inspections. The vendor is responsible for its own equipment, daily cleanup, waste disposal, recycling, and required insurance. The initial term may be extended for up to two additional seasons by mutual agreement. Proposals will be evaluated based on ability to meet specifications, revenue offered to the Town, business reputation, and historical experience with the Town.
