Description
The City of Lenoir is soliciting letters of interest from a qualified professional consulting firm to provide design and engineering services for approximately 7,218 linear feet, or 1.36 miles, of multi-use path. The project will connect the East Harper Lenoir Greenway Connector to Harper Avenue and NC 18/Morganton Boulevard SW, continue to Broyhill Walking Park, and extend along Norwood Street SW to Mulberry Park. Required capabilities include multi-use trail design, surveying, environmental studies and permitting, erosion and sediment control design, hydrologic and hydraulic design, utility coordination, traffic management planning, landscape and streetscape design, mapping and aerial data collection, and related transportation and environmental disciplines. The selected firm must be prequalified by the North Carolina Department of Transportation for the listed discipline codes, and subconsultants are not permitted under this letter of interest. The proposed contract term is 12 months with lump-sum payment. Letters of interest are limited to 15 pages, excluding the cover sheet and RS-2 forms, and must include firm, team, technical approach, project experience, past performance, and capacity information.
