Description
Cochise County, through an Arizona Department of Housing HOME grant and on behalf of its Development Services Department, is soliciting bids for repairs to a residential property. The scope includes replacing the asphalt-shingle roof and decking as needed; providing and installing an electric heat pump; bringing the electrical panel up to code; repairing nonworking receptacles; installing three 4-by-4-foot bedroom windows; repairing a laundry-room floor; replacing siding on the east- and west-facing gables; pumping or replacing the septic system; correcting low water pressure and rust to provide clean water at 40–80 psi; repairing a toilet and front door; disconnecting the water heater; installing smoke detectors; and removing construction debris. The contractor must obtain applicable building permits before beginning construction. Bidders must be licensed, registered, and in good standing with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors, and the awarded vendor must be registered in SAM.gov. A mandatory pre-bid site visit is scheduled, and proposals must be submitted electronically through the county's e-procurement portal before the stated deadline.
