Description
The City of Bisbee is soliciting proposals for the complete abatement of regulated building materials at the former Bisbee Gourmet Foods building. The scope includes removal, handling, packaging, transportation, and disposal of asbestos-containing materials and lead-based paint, along with required permits, notifications, containment, warning systems, decontamination facilities, air monitoring, sampling, inspections, clearance testing, and regulatory coordination. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, transportation, testing, documentation, and incidentals; maintain site safety and security; protect adjacent property and public rights-of-way; and provide disposal manifests, receipts, permits, inspection reports, monitoring results, clearance documentation, and other closeout records. Proposers must be properly licensed through the Arizona Registrar of Contractors, be qualified asbestos-abatement professionals, hold current EPA AHERA accreditation as applicable, and submit documentation of required licenses and certifications. Federal Davis-Bacon prevailing-wage requirements apply. Finish work such as drywall repair, patching, painting, and cosmetic restoration is excluded.
